The designer presented her creation at Palazzo Rospigliosi Pallavicini Sforza, in Rome, during a show included in ‘Puglia in tour’, event planned to promote the fashion from Apulia region.

A ready-to-use wedding dress for the husband-chasers who have no time to visit a wedding couturier. It could be included among the travel accessories.

»» Goodbye Low-Rise Jeans

52

With Spring approaching, a new style of jeans, called midrise, is replacing the low-rise cut which has dominated the scene in the last years.

The new cut, ends about two fingers below the navel and has a waistband that rests two thirds of the way between the hip and the smallest part of the waist.

After a period of 5/6 years, marked by the trend “the lower the better”, most of women, not comfortable wearing low-rise cut, welcome the new style.
The author of the story Jeans Rising, wonders:

” Why did the style endure so long? It’s a mystery.
Low-rise jeans aren’t very comfortable, and it’s tricky to find a pair that fits. Doctors warned women not to wear them too tight—a Canadian medical journal reported that patients actually sustained nerve damage from wearing overconstricting hip-huggers.
School administrators were not amused: low-rise jeans are banned from scores of high schools. “

Manufacturers and stylists know not everyone looks good in low-rises, so by introducing more-wearable styles they are hoping to reignite sales.
